How do I upload my images?

It is a 4 step process: Register, Select a place, Upload, Customize.

Register:

To upload images you need to register as a user on BIGREDTHING. This involves entering basic information. (You may be contacted for more information about you and your images).

After registering you can login.

Select a place:

Before you upload an image, you'll need to select a place for the image. You can add it to an existing album, create an album or sub- album, or just add them to "The In-Box Album". We may move your images or albums as the site grows.

Upload:

There are several methods to uploading available. The easiest one is the first one "from Web Browser". Just browse your local drives for each individual image. If you have a bunch of files to upload consider using the Upload Applet (requires Java-capable browser) or download the Gallery Remote application.

Customize:

After you've uploaded your images you can fill in extra information about each image in the "Custom Fields" This includes who took the photo, the date the photo was taken, the event or occasion, and notes about anything else of interest. To get to the "Custom Fields" browse to the photo page, and click "Edit Photo" to get to a page with edit functions. Click on "Custom Fields" and fill in your information. (you can also use "Edit Photo" to make other adjustments to your photo.
